Successo per il pianista Pavle Krstic presso il flagship store di Steinway & Sons

"A recital by Austrian pianist Pavle Krstic was held last night, Thursday 15 May, at the Steinway & Sons flagship store in Milan. The event, organized in collaboration with The Pianist’s Corner, was sold out and won over the audience with an exceptional program.

Krstic, associate professor at the Department of Musicology of the Mozarteum University of Salzburg since 2022 and teacher at the ArtePiano Festival in Italy since 2023, demonstrated great interpretative sensitivity and a refined technique. The program ranged from some of the most beloved pages of the romantic and modern repertoire: from the famous Nocturne Op. 48 No. 1, Scherzo Op. 31 No. 2, Waltz Op. 18, Polonaise Op. 53 and Mazurka Op. 33 No. 4 by Chopin, to the Deux moments musicaux Op. 16 by Rachmaninov, up to the demanding triptych Trois mouvements de Petrouchka by Stravinsky. Pavle Krstic chose to perform the pieces following an order that separated the more intimate and dark compositions from the more extroverted and brilliant ones, such as the Waltz Op. 18, the Polonaise Op. 53 and, above all, the virtuosic Petrouchka, rendered with notable technical and expressive impact by the young performer.

Warm applause greeted the end of the concert, followed by an exceptional encore: the famous Ritual Fire Dance by De Falla, made famous by Arthur Rubinstein and performed by Krstic with great impetus and mastery of timbre. Final toast with the performer, the organization and the audience.

The event, with free admission but limited seats, once again confirmed the role of Steinway & Sons Milano as a point of reference for classical music in the city."

"Si è tenuto ieri sera, giovedì 15 maggio, presso il flagship store Steinway & Sons di Milano, un recital del pianista austriaco Pavle Krstic. L’evento, organizzato in collaborazione con The Pianist’s Corner, ha registrato il tutto esaurito e conquistato il pubblico con un programma d’eccezione.

Krstic, dal 2022 professore associato presso il Dipartimento di Musicologia dell’Università Mozarteum di Salisburgo e docente all’ArtePiano Festival in Italia dal 2023, ha dato prova di grande sensibilità interpretativa e di una tecnica raffinata. Applausi calorosissimi hanno salutato la fine del concerto, cui è seguito un bis d’eccezione: la celebre Ritual Fire Dance di De Falla, resa famosa da Arthur Rubinstein ed eseguita da Krstic con grande impeto e padronanza timbrica. Brindisi finale con l’interprete, l’organizzazione e il pubblico intervenuto.

L’evento, a ingresso gratuito ma con posti limitati, ha confermato ancora una volta il ruolo di Steinway & Sons Milano come punto di riferimento per la musica classica in città."
